Privacy policy

Last updated November 2, 2026

RigCheck is a web app that helps contractors run daily equipment inspections. This page explains what information we collect, why, and who else handles it. We keep it short on purpose.

What we collect

How we use it

To run the service you signed up for: show your fleet, record inspections, create PDF records, manage your subscription, send account emails such as confirmations and password resets, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.

Who handles it for us

These providers process data only to provide their services to us. We share information with no one else, except where the law requires it.

What stays in your browser

RigCheck saves a few small items in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme, your login session, and the last operator name you typed so you do not have to retype it. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your data and your choices

Your fleet and inspection records are yours. You can edit or delete machines and records in the app. To have your account and all its data deleted, or to ask for a copy of your data, contact us at the address below and we will do it within 30 days. If you cancel your subscription, we keep your data for 30 days so you can come back, then delete it on request.

Who this is for

RigCheck is built for businesses and their crews. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and each company's records are separated so other customers cannot read them. No service is perfectly secure, so use a strong, unique password.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell account owners by email.
